Working on a larger size panel and need reinforcement? Cascade Metals re-strip is amazing and adds strength and rigidity to any large piece. Works on both lead channels and copper foil.
Personally, I found it best to use a 1"-2" length at the joints. Slips right in and then just solder as usual.
