This listing is for beautiful, large vintage iridescent Scarab beetle pattern and glass accent jewel set of 6 by Worden. There are two each of the iridescent amber, green and blue scarabs.
Created by Chicago Art Glass, they measure approximately 1 1/2" x 1", (38 x 25mm) each. What makes these scarabs special is that decades ago these molded cast scarabs were made much thicker with a height of 1/2" or more.
When light touches these accent jewels, rich colors are transmitted and reflected. These pieces create alternatives in lamp and panel production when used not only for traditional designs, but also as an exciting addition to contemporary pieces.
The six scarabs and pattern are still sealed.
