Whenever I make a stained glass piece if I can put a jewel in it, I do! Faceted glass jewels are always great to add that special 'zing' to projects. What I love about them is that when light is transmitted thru a jewel there are literally dozens of rays of light! It's the same principle as with bevels. Each facet of a jewel or a bevel becomes a possible point of light. Strategically placed where the jewel will have morning or evening sun will give you a light show that you won't believe.
I've had these vintage, double faceted light amethyst 20mm glass jewels for many years. They can easily be incorporated into your works of art. Simply center the jewel in the copper foil, burnish the edges well...and be prepared for a spectacular effect. They're also especially nice to work into your leaded windows.
Each purchase is for five (5) light amethyst purple double faceted 20mm glass jewels.
